A little contrast, a lot of character.
The goldfish design brings two very different moods into one circular frame. Orange and amber gather in the fins and body, while blue and turquoise fill the water around them. The warm centre feels lively against its cooler surroundings.
Follow the dark outlines and the design becomes a collection of smaller shapes. A fin is a fan of separate panes; a bubble is a quiet circle; a curl of water gives the eye somewhere to wander. The whole picture grows out of these little decisions.
Different colours, different corners of the workshop.
The daisy takes a softer route. Cream petals surround a golden centre, with greens filling the spaces around the flower. The lotus uses its own balance of petal and background, while wings, woodland and night-sky designs bring other shapes into the collection.

Look at the details.
The artwork gives each pane a textured appearance, with small variations in brightness and colour. Its outlines make the pieces easy to read, while the finished image brings them back together. The reflections in the artwork are part of its visual treatment.
A Tiny Glassworks commission gives you time with those details. Whether you start with a flower or move on to a fish, the pleasure is in seeing separate pieces become one little picture.
